Mikey Lewis scores FOUR tries as Hull KR thrash Bradford in dominant display

Hull Kingston Rovers delivered a masterclass in clinical rugby league as they demolished Bradford in a one-sided encounter at Craven Park, with star halfback Mikey Lewis producing a performance to remember by crossing for four tries. Lewis was in scintillating form throughout, consistently breaking the Bradford defense with his sharp footwork and intelligent play. His first try came after a neat grubber kick bounce, while his second showcased his strength close to the line. The third demonstrated his ability to spot gaps in the defense, and the fourth, a lenghty solo effort, had the home crowd on their feet as he crossed untouched from 40 meters out.

"Mikey was outstanding tonight - he controlled the game beautifully and took his chances when they came," said Hull KR head coach Willie Peters. "We've been building towards performances like this, and to put 40 points on a team like Bradford shows the progress we've made. The whole squad contributed, but Mikey's four-try effort was special."

Bradford, to their credit, showed fight in the opening stages and briefly threatened an upset when they crossed for their only try midway through the first half. However, Hull KR's superior fitness and organization told as the match wore on, with the visitors fading badly in the second forty minutes. The Bulls' defense was repeatedly exposed by smart attacking plays, and their inability to contain Lewis proved costly.

The victory extends Hull KR's winning run to three matches and moves them to within two points of the top four with a game in hand. Lewis, speaking after the match, dedicated his performance to the fans who have supported the club through thick and thin. "This is for the Red and Whites - they've been incredible this season. We're not satisfied though, there's more to come from us."
