Manchester City Sign Allan Elias from Palmeiras in £32.1m Deal
Manchester City have completed the signing of 22-year-old wide forward Allan Elias from Palmeiras for an initial £32.1 million. The deal makes him City's third major acquisition of the transfer window.

Manchester City have confirmed the signing of wide forward Allan Elias from Palmeiras in a deal worth an initial €37.5 million (£32.1 million), according to reporting by The Guardian. The agreement also includes a further €2.5 million, adding another young attacking option to City's squad near the end of the transfer window.

Watch the highlights:

Allan arrives after breaking into Palmeiras' senior team last year. The 22-year-old made 96 appearances for the Brazilian club, scoring nine goals and providing 12 assists. That record reflects a player who accumulated considerable first-team experience in a relatively short period before completing his move to England.

The transfer makes Allan Manchester City's third major acquisition of the window. The club had already signed midfielder Elliot Anderson for £116 million and Ayyoub Bouaddi for £85 million. Together, those moves represent a significant reshaping of the squad, with Allan now adding width and another option in the forward line.

In comments published as part of the announcement and reported by The Guardian, Allan called the move a surreal moment and described City as one of the world's most attractive destinations for players because of the club's achievements over the past 15 years. He also said joining the club was the proudest moment of his life.

City's incoming business comes as the club also considers possible departures before the window closes. The Guardian reported that Manchester City are open to allowing Jack Grealish to leave on loan, with Everton hopeful of taking the 30-year-old midfielder. No completed move for Grealish was reported, so his position remained unresolved at the time of the report.

For Allan, the confirmed transfer ends his time at Palmeiras after a rapid rise from his senior debut to nearly 100 appearances. His nine goals and 12 assists provide the clearest measure of his contribution there, while the size of the initial fee underlines Manchester City's investment in his development. The move is complete, but his role and the speed with which he adapts to his new team will only become clear once he begins competing for selection.
