Liverpool Name Turkish Airlines as Shirt Sponsor From 2027-28
Liverpool have named Turkish Airlines as their main club partner from June 2027. The five-year shirt deal is reportedly worth more than £60 million per season.

Liverpool have announced Turkish Airlines as their new main club partner from June 1, 2027, ending Standard Chartered's 17-year run as the name on the front of the club's shirts. The airline's branding will appear on Liverpool's men's, women's and Academy match shirts from the start of the 2027-28 season.

Watch the highlights:

The agreement is for five years and is worth more than £60 million per season, according to The Guardian. That would take its total value above £300 million. Liverpool did not disclose the financial terms in their official announcement, so those figures remain reported rather than club-confirmed.

Standard Chartered will continue as Liverpool's main partner throughout the 2026-27 campaign. It will then move into a global-partner role when Turkish Airlines takes over the primary position. The bank has occupied the front of Liverpool's shirts since 2010, making this the club's first change of main partner in 17 years.

Liverpool confirmed that the new branding will span the senior men's and women's teams as well as the Academy. The arrangement therefore covers the club's principal match shirts rather than being limited to one team or competition. Turkish Airlines will formally begin its role in June 2027, ahead of the following season.

The Guardian reported that Liverpool regard the agreement as potentially the most lucrative shirt sponsorship in Premier League history. The comparison is not definitive, however, because Manchester United have also said their Snapdragon agreement is worth more than £60 million annually. Liverpool's latest published accounts showed record revenue of £703 million for the financial year ending May 31, 2025, according to the same report.

Liverpool chief commercial officer Ben Latty described the announcement as a milestone and said the club was pleased to welcome Turkish Airlines. Airline chief executive Ahmet Olmustur said the partnership joins two organisations with international reach. The announcement sets out a long transition: Standard Chartered remains on the shirts for one more full season before Turkish Airlines becomes the visible lead partner in 2027-28.
